52 in 52

At the end of last year, I took a look at all of the books sitting on the “to read” portion of my bookshelf and was overcome with shame. How could I, as a writer, neglect the one thing necessary for me to succeed? So I’m setting out to change that with this challenge.

52 in 52 is a challenge that means I will be reading 52 books in 52 weeks. That means one book a week, every week, for a year. For this challenge, each book will be at least 150 pages, and I’ll write a blog post for every book that I read (which I’m calling “Blook Reports”). Whether it’s a novel in itself, or I’ve got two words to say about it, I want to share with you what I read and why.

Below is the list of books I’ll be reading in 2018. You’ll find links to blook reports if they’re read, as well as a rating on a scale from 1 to 6 hearts. If you have a book you’d like to see on the list, please head over to the Contact page and let me know!

Feel free to peruse and plunder this list. Let’s boogie!
